    Fabulous Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

I have made this recipe as written and family loved it. But this time had done tweaks with what I had. Used roasted turkey for chicken. Cooked the egg noodles in a mixture of water and turkey dripping. sub a mixture of cheese that I had in the house. Family loved it.

Turkey seems like a good substitute, especially for a casserole.

LOL to me too Bakerme but it is so good for sure.

Oh Frankie love how great turkey and chicken can sub each other so perfectly.

Mommy I have made Cordon Bleu a couple of times. LOL find it fiddly to roll up especially when I am using full boneless chicken legs but oh so worth the trouble. This recipe gives you that plus a lot more.

Nadine, I've made Chicken Kiev from scratch and, if Cordon Bleu is anything like it, it's a pain in the butt to make and, literaly, took me all day! Gee, I wonder why I only made it a few times. ;)

I've made Chicken Cordon Bleu quite a few times. I think the secret is to get the chicken breast pounded thin for easier rolling. Toothpicks, too. :-)
