Flakey Dill Biscuits

Recipe by Pleclare: Flakey Dill Biscuits/saved
A unique taste for a biscuit. Still flavorful in its own right. Might be even better with butter.
Three quarter inch rise over dough, so that's pretty good.
Didn't drop the biscuits. Cut them out with a 3" biscuit cutter. And looking at the recipe pic, so did the author.
    Made 9 biscuits.
Baked for 10 minutes, then turned on the convection fan for 5 more minutes to help the color.

Those are really pretty, pso. I'll bet you could put almost any herb in there. Rosemary sounds good to me. Or maybe some lavender for MrP. :)

If I didn't know there was dill in the mix, my first impression would be that there was a bit of cornmeal in the biscuit.

That's quite a bit of dill weed too! Did you use 2 or 3 tsp?

I really need to get to making some biscuits. I'll have to start with the drop kind. I dont have a rolling pin. Could they be flattened by hand?

Rosemary does sound good. As for the lavender.........NOT so much

    Wow 3!!!

You could do it by hand Mr P it may not be even and it would take longer too. I would just stick with drop until you get a rolling pin.
