Fontina and Asparagus Tart

    I made Corinne's
    Fontina And Asparagus Tart
for lunch today and it was A-One superb! This would be a really nice dish to serve at a spring luncheon or as an appetizer for a nice dinner. It looks really fancy but it pretty easy to put together and a great way to feature Asparagus. I'd never tried Fontina cheese before and if I were describing it to someone I'd say it is very similar to a Gouda. When I first pulled the Puff Pastry out of the oven I was worried as it was really thick and round and I was worried how I was going to get the Asparagus to sit on properly, but I just took a spatula and gently pushed down on it and it worked perfectly. The addition of the Lemon sprinkle at the end adds a really nice finish. A really lovely dish. Thanks so much Corinne!

I don't mind at all Corinne but the 'Taste of Home' picture was prettier. Mine was taken still on the cookie sheet as Jim and Benjamin were chomping at the bit to cut into it! LOL! It was sooo good!
