Frito Pie

A recipe from Dixiediner Frito Pie

A really easy & tasty comfort casserole..I added a bit more chili powder, I didn't measure, but it was quite a bit more than the recipe called for..we like spicy:) I didn't have any olives (1 ingredient short as usual) but I would definitely add them the next time around:) Although I TRY to make healthy meals.NOT always, but for the most part..and this isn't the healthiest, but every once in a while I love making something cheesy and delish:)

Omg I love frito pie, looks great! It brings back memories of when I young and my Dad played baseball and I would always get frito pies from the concession stand :) my brother was a toddler then and he would occasionally waddle up and I would pop a Frito in his little mouth :P

    Hamburger helper at its best.
I'm afraid I'd bust my diet and eat the whole thing!
Some sauteed 'shrooms would be OK in there too.

Thanks guys, it was really goof:)

Michelle, what a great memory..too cute popping a frito in your little brother's mouth! I think your kiddos would like this as well:)

Points, yes! sauteed mushrooms would be excellent!

FA, I'm sure you could 1/2 the recipe:) Maybe freeze leftovers?
