Recipe by Christinem: Homemade Pumpkin Pudding
Its a nice pudding. I steamed up a sugar pumpkin and run it through a potato ricer to make the puree. Still had little bitty lumps in it. Should have used a blender stick or food mill to break all up to a smooth lump free texture.
Mother prefers it a little warm as opposed to chilled. I like it fine either way.
It's sort of like pumpkin pie, just not quite so set up.

Oh, wow. I never heard of such a thing. Is it kinda brown like the picture on the recipe? I thought it would be more orange. Maybe the brown sugar makes it brown-er. It does sound like it would be tasty warm.

It's the color of pumpkin pie, although it does start out orange.
