Another money saver here! Not too hot. Not a lot of salt.

Made it again. It's only been 8 months since I had a use for it last. It's now in a repurposed spice jar as a permanent placeholder in the spice rack. Somehow I feel richer today.

Made it again. Had to make up some chili powder and cumin first.

    How do you make cumin?

You could grow it to collect the seeds. That's a very slow process.
I posted a recipe for ground cumin on my page.
Buy cumin seeds from a specialty store and grind them as needed for the very best fragrance and flavor. Mortar and Pestle or spice grinder or rolling pin.
I bought my seeds from a neighborhood Mexican store. One can buy a plethora of whole dried chilis from that source.
