Homemade Taco Seasoning Recipe

like to packaged seasoning but can be altered to your taste.

Ingredients
- 6 tsp. chili powder
- 5 tsp. paprika
- 4 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 3 tsp. onion powder
- 2 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp cayenne- I use 1 tsp copatle insted for the flavor
Directions
- mix all ingredients well and store in an air tight container for up to 6 months. makes 21 tsp. -use 7 tsp. to equal 1 bought package.

I use taco seasoning all the time and get big tubs of the stuff at Costco. Once its finished I'll give this a try, as it sounds really good. Thanks.

Thanks for this mix. I'm always looking for recipes like this. When I prepare them myself I know what's in it. Too many preservatives & fillers in the products we buy now days. '5' from me.
