I can't see this recipe. Taking good cheddar cheese and defiling it by cutting it with gelatin and powdered milk and water. Plus it makes the concoction more expensive than cheddar. Whereas store bought Velveeta is less expensive than cheddar.
I understand that there are places where Velveeta is unavailable. But if you can buy cheddar why hack it up to make Velveeta?

I also know that Mis7Up made this but haven't come across that review yet.
Oh, and Points, in my neck of the woods, Velveeta is much more expensive than cheddar. I like to use Velveeta in recipes that need a nice smooth, melted ooze without all the separated oil you get from cheddar. Both cheeses have their place. I also know this was posted 4 years ago.
