Horseradish Sauce

I was looking for different sauces that I could make lighter to dip some meatballs in. This was one that I used. The thing I did to lighten this up is use light mayo. I used a very coarse grain dijon mustard and it was very tasty! Definitely an easy and versatile sauce and bet it's good on some sandwiches :) :)

What a beautiful pic! I love grainy dijon mustard and horseradish and it looks perfect with those meatballs:) I bet it would be a good sauce to serve with roast beef too!

Oh my gosh! That looks so good! I don't recall seeing that before although I thought I had looked at all of Softie's recipes. Thanks for putting it here. I'm going to save this one.

Wow Michelle! That picture is magazine worthy! NOM on the Horseradish sauce. What are the orangish coloured dollops in front of the meatballs? I'm not a big meatball fan but those look most delectable. What recipe did you use?

Thanks guys ;0) I agree this would be perfect on a roast beef sandwich!

Chuckie, the orange stuff was another spicy sauce I served with them...here's the link and it's oh so good and spicy :) http://allrecipes.com/recipe/habanero-hot-sauce/detail.aspx
The meatballs were just what I usually like to throw together when not using any certain recipe...
1 lb. ground beef, 1 egg, palm full of bread crumbs, spices such as garlic powder, onion powder, parsley flakes, S&P and then a palm full of grated parmesan. It's definitely my go to easy meatballs!

Oh and I usually roll them into around 13-15 meatballs and bake at 350 on a baking rack for about 20-25 minutes...

My husband would totally love that entire plate. Thanks for the extra details. I 'pinned' the Habanero sauce. Again, I'm not all that familiar with hot peppers and it's a lot harder to track them down here than it seems to be in the States. I'm going to copy and paste your meatball recipe. It'd make a lovely looking appy plate for sure!
