Knock You Naked

Recipe by Coachsmom: Knock You Naked/saved
    I'm naked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't want to get knocked so I got naked first.
It's a cake with a gooey caramel center that looks like a piece of fudge.
Tried it at room temp and the rest is in the fridge for later testing.
It does try to tear up upon cutting at room temp. Maybe the chilling in the fridge will help with that.
Used peanuts. That's what I had.
The top layer was a little fussy spreading over the caramel and choc chips.
It's OK in my book but mother liked it very well.
Most difficult part about this recipe was unwrapping the caramels.

Points, if you try this recipe again, try the little caramel bits. They're *much* easier to use than unwrapping all those caramels by hand! I used them for dipping pretzel rods and they worked great: http://www.amazon.com/Kraft-Caramel-Bits-11oz-Bag/dp/B008C9XAOE

I think it's a little better handling once it's chilled. And I'm sure it would slice better.

Wow, that's a lot of gooey sugary stuff! I love German chocolate cake. Seems like about a tablespoon of that would be enough!

You're welcome, Nadine! This is the recipe I used the caramels bits in:

    http://www.gooseberrypatch.com/gooseberry/recipe.nsf/55e548eeef8c89b9852568d4004c5ffe/A5CCE2C68F6B544085257960005169B1

If you try it, melt the chocolate chips with a little butter or shortening so the mixture is smooth. Mine didn't melt well at all by themselves and just clumped up into a big mess and I had to run to the store for another bag of chips. NOT what I wanted to do in the middle of making the recipe!
