    Lemon Chicken

This is the second time I have made this. Both times it came out great. First time I had a problem getting the sauce to thicken and ended up adding cornstarch. This time I just boiled the sauce much longer and it came out perfect. Very sticky. Very good. I also didnt have poultry seasoning and tried to make my own with what I had. I know this was also posted to IMI some time ago but couldnt find it so I created a new thread. The recipe stated that it was "very tart". I didnt think it was at all. Maybe due to the time I had to boil the sauce. I had 8 pieces so I doubled the sauce. There was about 1/4 cup of liquid/juice left in the skillet so I deducted that amount from the water needed. Excellent recipe. Thank you Anutybea

Thanks, Frankie. This is the recipe that I made several months ago where I had tons of water/fluid left and couldnt get the sauce to thicken and the thread where you came up with guinea pig cuz I was going to try and make the poultry seasoning that GKWillow explained. If that helps your memory.

Glad it turned out for you this time, Mr. P.

I'm so glad I finally got around to making this! If you stay patient and let that sauce boil furiously for about 10 to 15 minutes it really does cook down into a SUPER sticky delicious sauce! I doubled up on it so I had extra for the rice. My picky anti sweet/meat eater loved it! Maybe she's coming around? ;) like Mr P I didn't get that really tart flavor as described, which is fine with us. Also served with asparagus on the side and sprinkled with a little chopped chives. YUM!!! Added my picture to the wonderful collection too :)
