My second attempt ever at crab cakes and my most successful! My first time was a flop but these made up for it and came out beautifully! Perfect amount of spices and flavor! Served with Garlic Aoili from AR! Yum! Here's the link to the aoili if anyone's interested...

Well we both just must have good taste Keni ;0)

Just a heads up I'm gonna make your blueberry scones soon in the next couple weeks! I've never made scones so this will be a first for me! I have never seen dried blueberries and I'm gonna look for them but I'm assuming I can use fresh if I need too right? And where do I find the blueberry fruit spread? Sorry I'm one lost puppy :)

Hey Mommyluvs...we now make scones all the time, instead of muffins... love them and they are SO easy! :)

dried blueberries should be easy to find, actually... and honestly, I would recommend you use a dried fruit rather than a fresh one in these... they are denser than muffins, so they really do well with the dried... I've used cranberries, blueberries, cherries, currants, etc... love them all :)

the blueberry fruit spread should just be with the jellies and jams...just look for an "all fruit" product....they don't have sugar added... that's all I buy. I make apple butter, but I buy all fruit spreads :)

That aoili looks great Lillian! I bet the dijon is good in it! That's my next one to try!

Thanks Keni! I'm sure the dried blueberries are gonna be there somewhere. I've just never noticed them...but then again I've never needed them before either!

I should have known where that fruit spread was! Duh! I was thinking more in the refrigerated section for some reason. Okay, I'm really looking forward to making these and I'll let yall know how they turn out!!
