These were awesome!!! So much flavor! I've made crab cakes once before and they came out crispy on the outside but really weird mushi-ness on the inside. These were perfect! I did have problems keeping them together...but I always seem to have that problem when it comes to frying certain things. I used fresh blue crab and I ended up having to grind some mustard seeds cause I couldn't find my mustard powder. I served these with Garlic Aioli from AR. Went very well with them. Definitely my go-to crab cake!

Sounds delicious! What is Old Bay? I won't find it in Portugal I'm sure... Is it some kind of seasoning?

Mmmm I think I remember these from AR. They do sound absolutely delicious! I actually have all the ingredients too. Can I use diced onion instead of the powder (pleeease) or does it ruin them?

I've been waiting for you to add these! :) I've made them(no pic, I guess, I thought I had :( and thought I added Old Bay, but now it's on the ingredient list, so maybe I did follow the recipe exactly...wow, that would really be rare! Anyway, this is a 5, for sure. Oh, I know...I didn't use canned crab meat...I used the yummy stuff that comes in the "tub"..big ol' pieces of fresher tasting stuff...SO good! Thanks, SLJ!
