  Make It Yourself Baked Beans In The Slow Cooker
  I had to crock the beans for 12 hours, just like other comments. We could probably run the crock on HI for a couple of hours then on LO for the remainder of the time.
  Drained renderings from the bacon onion mix before stirring it into the crock.
  You fire breathers can use all the cayenne you want. I'm happy with 1/4t in the mix.
  On a bad note, I scorched the beans just a little. On a good note, the sauce covered up the scorch pretty good.
  Used stewed tomatoes run through the blender as a sub.
