    Get ready to cringe DT!
    A very savory side dish. Everything came out exactly to spec! Well................
    Beans were already snapped to inch size. Didn't hurt it!
    Didn't douse the beans in ice water, just drained. This house doesn't like crunch tender veggies. Didn't hurt it, in our opinion!
    Used 16oz 'shrooms. Didn't hurt it!
    Used granulated chicken bouillon and water. Didn't hurt it, I don't think!
    Used my store brand's onion rings. Didn't hurt it, I don't think!
    Used fresh grated nutmeg. Definitely didn't hurt it!
    Used an 8x8" casserole dish. Recipe didn't say what size to use.
    Made no picture to gawk at. Mine looks a little more white-ish than the headliner pic because of the cream sauce.
    Didn't see any 'shrooms in the headliner pic to compare to. Half inch cut 'shrooms let them be cut once in half on the smaller ones and thirds on the larger ones. Didn't mind that at all. Gave the dish more of a beefy texture.
    Served it up with a beer can chicken and peach cobbler.
