    Moms Manhunter Short Ribs

    Not the usual short ribs/baby back ribs recipe with the broiled on sauce to intensify the flavor.

    A lot of extra onion and mushroom to deal with here. Going to have to make gravy out of it.

    I sauteed the onion and mushroom before dropping it on top of the ribs in the crock pot.

I'm learning how to figure how much water based sauce it takes to make a gravy work. I needed 2 to 4 more cups of water to make the gravy just perfect, starting with a 6 cup roux mix.

    I like the recipe a lot better with the addition of the gravy. So fish the ribs out of the crock pot when done and make a gravy with the sauce.
