    Moms Swiss Steak by Sparow64

    Those who know me know that I have quite a bit of round steak to deal with from the 1/2 side of beef we bought earlier in the year...finding different things to do with this cut of meat has not been an easy task. Most of the crock pot recipes for it disappointed me as I didn't like the ending texture of the meat.
    I tried this one for the second time last night and it was AMAZING! The texture of the meat was fall apart tender without being grainy, the resulting sauce from the canned tomatoes and onions and seasonings was lick your plate delicious. I served it alongside baked potatoes. No need for sour cream or cheese on that potato....just a little butter and more sauce!
    I wish I could have got a pic. My phone is down right now, but it was truly pretty on the plate. I'll be making it again for sure!

    Sounds delicious! I have a ton of round steak in the freezer for the same reason as you (plus about a hundred pounds of ground beef lol). Check out AR...they have quite a few over there that I've made and liked a lot. I'm saving this one for sure!
