Old Fashioned Meat Pie

A recipe from Good4U! Old Fashioned Meat Pie/saved

This is a total comfort meal! So very good:) Per my husband, "This is so good Marie, top notch!" So there you have it! I did use refrigerated pie crusts (I'll make homemade the next time around) and used 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey since I only have 9" deep dish pie plates..worked very well:) I also had to decide whether to bake at 450F, the temperature stated for the refrigerated pie crusts, or 350F, the temp Joce has for her home made pie crusts..I figured 400F would be good..thank goodness it worked! I baked the meat pie for 45 minutes:) Thank you Joce for sharing your grandmother's wonderful meat pie recipe!

Awwww, thanks Joce..I took a pic of the whole pie first, just in case it totally fell apart when I sliced into it! LOL
So funny, this morning Rick said gravy would be excellent on the meat pie..GMTA Michelle:-) So I'll make some gravy tonight to have with our leftover pie:)
