Recipe by Maryelizlawson: Onion Soup Mix
Dry onion soup mix. Made up a batch and put it in a nice airtight acrylic container. You can use this recipe or one of the several other onion soup mixes here at GR. They are all the same. This should save lots of $$$ if you do a lot of cooking with packages of dry onion soup mix.

No. Used granulated bouillon from the pantry. Although I'll look for it when I chance to visit a well supplied dried goods store two cities over.

Was looking for a French onion soup powder recipe. Found one. The only difference from this one seems to be a little ground black pepper and a tablespoon sea salt.
I think this recipe will do fine for Onion Soup Mix or French Onion Soup Mix because of the absence of any salt, which is a good thing.
