    Overnight Apple Oatmeal
This is a great overnight oatmeal recipe. I used frozen peaches. I keep frozen fruit in my freezer to thaw out for vanilla yogurt. I think next time I will try mixed berries. What I did to cut it down for one is posted on the recipe.

I need to do this sometime to make my school mornings easier! I usually do toaster strudels or something quick cause we gotta be up early!! Looks good!!

Think maybe a pinch of salt is in order. Then a patty of butter on top when served.

I made this...it's good!!! Nice quick breakfast for the morning. I did add a little extra brown sugar. I didn't get a picture in (it was early) but I do have left overs and I'm gonna try and get one when those are used.... I loved this idea and can't wait to try it with other fruits!

Did you stir yours? Mine brown sugar was all in one spot. But, making it for one, I just scooped it all into my bowl without stirring in the pot. I like the idea of using more brown sugar, too.

I did not stir, but because of your review I just kinda sprinkled my brown sugar all over the place. I think my only problem was that it left burn marks in my crockpot across the top that were so hard to clean....

Made this for mother. Too much sugar for me. She likes it. Added pic to recipe. I did have one half tsp just to taste it. I'm not an oatmeal fan anyhow.
Not sure why we're not supposed to stir the pot. Maybe it's just visual aesthetics, keeping the colors separated, when presented.
The crock will require some scrubbing. Maybe this is an opportunity for a non-stick spray.

Needs to be added to the reviews profile.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna stir next time and see what happens. I'm going to try this with some berries next week.
I'll try to sign in as Reviews this weekend, pso. Thanks for the reminder. Keep it up, please. :)

Crock wasn't too hard to clean at all. Just let it soak in some warm water while making lunch.

I finally got around to making this with frozen berries. It turned the dish a pretty pink and, with the brown sugar and oats, tasted a bit like a cobbler type thing. Added a pink picture.
