  A sweet treat. Tastes a little like a pecan pie in the top layer with all the brown sugar, pecans and butter going on. Then down to the peaches sandwiching a cake mix layer which has sucked up all the juices. And a pineapple layer on the bottom.
  I catch a taste of raw flour flavor every now and then on a chew.
  Think I would tend to use the lesser amount of the cake mix listed than the greater amount to make sure there is enough liquid to saturate all the cake mix and also rehydrate the raisins, first, for the same reason.
  Used Basic Cake Mix for the cake mix.
