    Pumpkin Tiramisu By: Annieamie

This was just lovely! I did end up finally finding the Lady Fingers (at a local Kroger store) and used about 1 1/2 packages. I used OJ b/c we had kids eating it too. I whipped up the whole pint of heavy cream and added a bit of vanilla extract and sugar to that as well. I used closer to 3/4 cup pumpkin puree. I also used 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice in place of the cinnamon & nutmeg. A wonderful alternative to pumpkin pie for a bit of a lighter dessert after our big Thanksgiving feast.

Yum! I actually have quite a bit of pureed pumpkin in my freezer. Never made a tiramisu, but it does seem time consuming lol! I'm gonna save this and try and make it on a lazy day lol! It just sounds so good!

It does take some time but it is well worth it. I made mine in a large clear bowl with 2 layers b/c I don't have a trifle dish but wanted to be able to see how pretty it was. It was my first time whipping cream so that was interesting and yummy! :-)

Now I want to make traditional tiramisu b/c I adore it but my beau hates coffee so the espresso would be a no-go. Must save the one for when family comes to town or to share with girl friends..

Dahlia, this looks incredible. I've been looking for a 'lighter' dessert for company coming over on Saturday and this might fit the bill. Thanks.

Very nice. Good photo. Brava on whipping your own cream! It is so much better than store bought. I have to plan something for our party on Tuesday. Hmmm, I have lots of pumpkin puree too. Good plan.
