    Ramen Noodle Salad by Twill10

I loved this salad, the combination of the cabbage and the crunchy ramen noodles along with the tangy & sweet dressing was perfect...you could also add some diced grilled chicken, I'll have to try that next time! The only change -- I used Oriental ramen noodles instead of chicken...Thanks Twill10 for a great summertime salad, I'll be making this often:)

Great pic NPMarie. I make something similar but without the seasoning packet. Love the crunch of the ramen noodles.

No, thankfully, the Belden fire isn't affecting us. That one is really close to you. I hope they get a handle on it soon. Having that smoke lingering around you is awful.
We had a 300 some odd acre one right here in the surrounding hills of Ukiah last weekend. Some idiot actually started it. Thankfully, they had it out in a couple of days. Some people....

I made this recipe as well and I used the shrimp flavored ramen noodles and added grilled shrimp to it. It was absolutely fantastic! The only thing is I will have to figure out how to cut down the salt a bit. I don't have a picture, unfortunately my 3 yr old decided my digital needed a bath and down goes the camera. Lol. Thank goodness I had already downloaded the other pics to the computer. Oh, well. Hopefully soon I will have a way to take pictures again.

Hey Mandy, try using only part of, or better yet, none of the seasoning packet for the dressing, that will help cut down on the salt..I think it would still taste great:)
