    Roast Crockpot Turkey Thighs
Well, y'all know you can't really roast poultry in a crockpot and I knew that as well. The skin does not come out crispy and is totally unappetizing (as you can see in the picture). So, I took it off and off came all the spices. The skin was pretty sticky and I couldn't scrape the seasoning off to get it back on the meat. But, this is a good way to get a turkey fix though and is easy enough. I didn't use celery as I would just throw it out so I subbed potatoes instead and used baby carrots so I didn't have to work so hard. :)
Kicking myself for not using a crockpot liner now that I am cleaning up. And I have two boxes of the darned things! But, the liquid is pure grease and a mess.

I guess if you wanted to get yet another pan dirty you could pop it under a broiler at the end. I think I'd just remove the skin to begin with so you could keep the spices and have less of that greasy liquid in the end.

Those are two good ideas - the broiler and taking off the skin to begin with. :)
