Semi's Spaghetti Sauce

Here was my review. Made 5/1/16 AMAZING SAUCE! Followed recipe exactly except added some mushroom slices to meat and onion mixture. Was delicious! Will definitely be making again! Thanks Semi for another outstanding recipe and for helping a girl learn to make great sauce from scratch. Highly recommend this one!

Here's the recipe link: Semis Spaghetti Sauce
Think I'd have to drain the browned meat mixture to keep the fat content down before continuing the recipe.

I love making my own spaghetti sauces. I also like how this uses ground turkey AND ground sausage. Bookmarked! Thanks for sharing Lindsay :)

That is a lot of spaghetti sauce! It looks like a good one though. I'd be draining the meat, too.

thank you Lindsay! So glad you liked it. From the sounds of it I didn't notate that I drain the fat from the meats, (if I am using beef and pork) if I am using ground turkey I just run a paper towel through the pan before adding the other ingredients as there isn't anywhere near as much fat. I do add mushrooms some times but hubs doesn't like them. I really like the ground turkey homemade Italian sausage along with plain ground turkey, but is really tasty with the pork Italian sausage too. another really good combo is when they are mixed all together. LOL! I had some leftovers made from pork and beef, and one that was just turkey. OMG! that was soo good together! Glad you liked it and your welcome! Hope over time you will adjust more to your liking and truly make it your own special sauce!
