OMG delicious! I was short on a few ingredients like the mushrooms *gasp* and the small white onions. I also used stew meat instead of cutting up the roast., and I served it over egg noodles. This has tons of flavor and we ate every bite!

Well at least from my experience the mushrooms are always a must in beef bourguignon and I didn't use them so good sign for you Frankie!! This was totally delicious without them!

This is almost identical to a recipe I have on my list to make soon, but the one you tried calls for 2x the wine (that can't be bad, right?) and the little onions and mine calls for potatoes as well. Guess we wouldn't need potatoes if we served it over egg noodles like you, and I think I might have to b/c it just look so good!

Thanks DT! I really wanted to serve this over mashed potatoes but had no potatoes! The egg noodle worked great though. Beef bourguignon is all about the wine, so it's never bad :)

I already have 2 mushroom haters in my life right now. Lets hope little caiden is on my side lol! He actually has eaten some but at this point in his life that doesn't say much. My daughter used to eat them all the time as a toddler now turns her nose up to them, which I think is cause daddy hates them.
