    Smoky Apple Butter Ribs
A co-worker gave me some homemade apple butter so I did a search here using that ingredient and found these. These were great! My house smelled fabulous when I walked in the door. I love the color the sauce gave these. No need to brown here! I didn't do the sauce thing. Its the end of a long week plus we are in major water rationing here. Used a liner for clean-up and to avoid washing the crock. No need to dirty up some more pans after doing all that!

How cool..slow cooker ribs..! Never thought of using apple butter..nice review and a very nice pic! Good thinking using the liner..I'll have to remember to pick some up!
I was thinking this would be a wonderful Winter rib recipe for Rick..too bad it's been in the 70's here! Sure wish we would get some rain..

Yummy those look so good! I need to pick up some country ribs next time I go to the meat market...love them! Every time you mention about your nifty liners, I always think...why don't I have those yet?! What aisle do you find them in...like by the foil?

Yes, ml2c, they are usually next to the oven bags in that plastic wrap/foil aisle.
    These are good cold, too!
