Smoky Apple Butter Ribs

- 3 lbs pork boneless country-style ribs shopping list
- 3/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 medium onion, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 cup apple butter shopping list
- 2 T packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 T liquid smoke shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place in 3 1/2 to 4 qt slow cooker. Cover with onion slices.
- Mix remaining ingredients; pour over ribs and onion.
- Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
- Remove ribs to warm platter; keep warm. Strain juices. Pour juices from slow cooker int 1 qt saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat; reduce heat to medium. Cook about 5 minutes or until sauce has slightly thickened. Serve sauce with ribs.

This was delicious! I was kinda scared of the amount of liquid smoke. I thought it could be wrong but it wasn't. These smelled wonderful! Mine were done in seven hours. Didn't do the sau...morefrankieanne in Somewhere loved it
