Souper Bowl

This was absolutely delicious! A hearty soup packed full of flavor. I did 1/2 the recipe since it's just the two of us and we still have some for leftovers! I used turkey kielbasa, which worked very well..and vegetable broth. I omitted the saffron, because I didn't have any:) The couple of splashes of the sherry vinegar really helped brighten the flavors! Thanks Laura for sharing! Soup IS good food!

Frankieanne, I add garbanzos when I make Minestrone..they're really good in soup!

This is my kind of soup!!! Very hearty and healthy!! I had some fresh chorizo, so I went ahead and just squeezed it out of the casing and cooked it up that way, breaking it up. I would have NEVER thought of pimentos in soup! Great addition! Haven't pulled out my saffron in a while, so that was nice. Used homemade chicken stock. Added my picture to this lovely recipe :) Thanks Laura!

I didn't even try to get the kiddos to eat this, I know they "think" they don't like kale and garbanzo beans, plus chorizo is a little spicy for their taste. I had already planned on making them peanut butter, banana and honey sandwiches :)
