    Spicy Sweet Grilled Pork Chop

With my son up visiting, my left overs just arent there and I have to cook every night. So I made this for dinner last night. (again, no leftovers) These were incredible. Even my son said they were the best pork chops he ever had. These were lick you finger good. One of the guys I work with gave me a large package of chops. I didnt really look at them till I was ready to put the rub on. From the size of the package I assumed there were 6-8. When I did remove them there were only 4 but the thinnest was just under an inch. Well I made the medium rub and used it all.on the 4. Good thing I went with medium. These had a very nice bite. I cant wait to have this again. Oh I also didnt have any Chipotle. I served it with "cooked" rice and grilled zukes brushed with a soy sauce and brown sugar mix. Thanks for an excellent recipe, Radd

So this is a rub recipe more than anything else.
Looks like variations on "heat level" with a little S&P and sugar added. Not very inspired herb and seasoning wise. :(

Yeh, I guess thats the best way to look at it. It was a simple rub. It just really worked with the pork chops. That should probably be stated in the recipe title. Plus my taste are still developing. It hasnt been very long since I've left the canned, boxed, and pre packaged and cooked meals behind : )

It looks like it lives up to the spicy sweet title. I like brown sugar on meat. Nice job! Guess you better start planning dinner for tonight. :)

Im glad MrPiggy enjoyed it! Sometimes you dont have to have every herb on the spice rack added to make things taste better. This recipe maybe a "simple rub" but even someone with a well developed palate will tell you this combo rocks!
