    Sweet Pork Burritos
Pork shoulders were on sale for 99 cents a pound where I shop. I bought a 7.5 pounder and brought it home to chop up. I'm not familiar with pork shoulder and heck! There is a bone in there! I sliced off three chunks of meat from around the bone so my roast was probably more like two pounds than three. I did the first part of cooking it in water yesterday afternoon and also made up the "sauce." Put it all in the refrigerator overnight and then used a liner in my crock pot and threw it all in before I went to work. I came home at lunch time and had my lunch, which I took a picture of, so my roast was in for the final cook for 4.5 hours. It came out really nice although I don't think Janet and Jim would like this much. :-P It is sweet from the sugar but there is a tanginess there that comes from something. I'm not certain what though. But, its there. Leftovers will be lunch this week. I used some leftover toppings from some tacos I made so it looks more like a taco than a burrito.
Didn't save the sauce. I was too worried about the fat content. Those pork shoulders are very fatty!

Beautiful pulled pork photo, Frankie! I'm trying to remember if I've ever made pork shoulder. Is it like a Boston or butt roast? They're the same thing by different names, and make great pulled pork.

    Thank you, everyone!
Bakerme, if there is one thing I stink at - OK there are lots of things - it is cuts of meat so I can't answer your question. :-)

Frankie, I'm not good at meat cuts, either, but I do know those two thanks to my local butcher. Usually, I can't tell one cut from the other!
