    Recipe by Mrpiggy: Teriyaki Chicken
    Nice flavor.
Filleted two naked breasts then sliced them in half longitudinally to make them look like your pic and so they would saute up in 3 minutes on a side over a medium heat.
Combined the left over marinade and the set aside sauce, added a half cup butter (one stick) and boiled for one minute in the saute pan used to cook the chicken. Then stirred in a cup of flour left over from Southern Style Chicken Popcorn/saved to make a gravy with the addition of 8 cups of water, slowly.
Put this over egg noodles instead of rice and added the requisite celery leaf.
Was going to cut the sesame oil in half but my, never opened, bottle of oil had a best if used by date in three months. Nothing to lose there!
Added some of the popcorn chicken to the dish too.

No problem on the pic. Went to snatch the celery leaf off the plate and mother was already chewing on it. She likes her celery.
On the gravy, thought I needed a way to adsorb the oil to make it edible and the gravy came to mind but it was a stirring experience to keep the lumps out because of the water content already in the soy sauce. It wanted to thicken and clump up right away before all the flour was adsorbed into a paste.

I guess oil goes bad too? I never check the dates on anything except dairy. That and chips. I end up with potato chips when I go shopping hungry. Then they will sit in the cupboard for ever. But I have had those months after the use by date and they tasted fine
