Janet posted in ODD a couple day's ago that this was on her menu for dinner and I happened to have all the ingredients, so I made it tonight! The only thing I didn't have actually was the cream of mushroom, but we all know Keni's recipe Make It Yourself Condensed Cream Of Soups and since I was out of mushrooms I made it cream of celery, which worked just fine for this recipe :) I used white cheddar and used the chicken plus half the vegetarian ingredients, the broccoli and spinach. Oh and Janet, what is Spaghettini? I've never heard of it, like a thin pasta? I just used regular spaghetti. Creamy, rich and delicious, something I haven't had in a long time!! Thanks Janet!! Oh and I tried to catch the sun light but time got away from me and I started this later than I would have liked, so my lighting is cruddy :(

LOL, Mommyluvs2cook! I remember the days of trying to chase the sunlight for photos. You get it all set up and then an unexpected cloud comes up. You wait, then the food looks bad because it's sat for a half hour. Tell Santa you want some studio lights .I love mine and I don't think they were expensive. I love tetrazzini and know I would like this. I've been seeing the word "spaghettini" a lot late, too. Must be a marketing thing. I have seen thin spaghetti on the shelves which I think is silly. Anyone heard of linguini? Thin spaghetti! lo!!

Maybe spaghettini is angel hair pasta?
I've never tried tetrazzini. When I was a kid, the turkey tetrazzini served in the school cafeteria was gross! Whenever I see or hear the word tetrazzini, I smell that cafeteria dish. I'm scarred for life. :-D Maybe I should try a vegetarian version and get over it.
I checked out some studio lights. They really aren't very expensive!

    It still looks wonderful Michelle!
I've made a similar recipe using bow tie pasta from Taste of Home, didn't know it was called tetrazzini! I love all the options in the recipe, I'd do half and half as well :)

My Thai chicken pasta uses Spaghettini too. It's thin spaghetti like Angel hair pasta or thin rice noodles. Up here in the North I've only ever seen it sold as spaghettini. It only takes 4 minutes to cook because it's so thin, I love it! :)

LOL! I meant to compare it to Angel hair pasta. Don't know where I got linguine. Apparently, I didn't have enough coffee this a.m.

I'll have to look into those studio lights DIZ, would definitely be a great Christmas present for sure! My family already looks at me like I'm crazy though so I couldn't imagine their reaction to extra lights lol.

FA I really think you would like this, there is no telling what your school put in their tetrazzini lol, but I would be scarred too lol :\

I don't think we have spaghettini in the states Shona, I'll have to take a look next time I'm at the store. Sounds like Angel hair pasta to me though!
