Thai Fried Rice WIth Rice

I'm guessing minced pork means ground? Not sure, but I went ahead and used some pork chops I had pulled out and diced them up really small. I also realized I was out of fish sauce to late, so I subbed soy sauce, and I think I used a little more than 2 Tbs as well. The recipe doesn't state how much sugar, but I usually don't measure any way. Just spooned some in till I liked it! Got to use my new wok, yay! Oh and I did my egg over easy, as you can tell from the pic...

Thai fried rice with rice. Whats up with that? Have you recently gone all veggie? Ive noticed that you have mentioned using meat for the kids and hubby a few threads ago. Although you used pork here. Maybe Im imagining things. Your photo looks delicious. I love a runny "yold" . I make a fried tuna and rice dish that I put a fried egg over..

I figured Marie. The chopped up pork is easier to pick out though so worked out well!

So how long have you been staying away from meat? My daughter has been thinking about doing that. Thats something I dont think I would ever be able to do. That and beer

It's been probably over a month now. My MIL, and 2 SIL's have gone veg for over a year now and I eat with them so much that I just got used to it and now the texture of meat just drives me crazy. Probably just one of those things that gets stuck in your head lol! Now beer on the other hand is a different story, and wine ;)
