  Made these before but forgot a picture. So here's one.
  Both times, mother remarked how good they were. She is a staunch white corn syrup eater. Think I could convert her to maple syrup, which is the secret ingredient, if she would just try some on the cakes.
  This is a thin cake, as advertised, with a punch of maple flavor in the cake.
