Good cakes. Made 6 cakes in an omelet pan. Suggest a pinch or so of salt to boost the flavor.

Sunny let me know how they turn out with the bacon or sausage in them. I have a wedding anniversary coming up and planned to make breakfast for my husband that day.

Pancakes are one of my weakness - along with cookies and scones - this is a great version with the syrup already in them. I'll be rolling bacon or sausage in them for contrasting taste. = )

What you described sounds really delicious. Please post. I might have to make my own applesauce if I make the recipe as I haven't seen applesauce here.

Don't even need syrup. Tonight I am making some applesauce spice cakes with Maple brown sugar frosting. I bet the frosting would be great inside one of these rolled up. I am tinkering with it right now. If it works out I'll post it.
