Tomato Sauce

    Recipe by Joe 1155: Tomato Sauce
    A nice quick tomato sauce that can be used straight up as a spaghetti sauce.
    I cut the cayenne amount in half. I always do this as a matter of policy the first time I make something with heat. Will use the full amount next time.
    Used tomatoes from the garden. After being seeded and drained they were about 3.5 pounds, then simmered down to about half in volume.
    So my sauce took a little longer than from the can but it had good flavor.
