    It's cringe time! : ) : D : ) > : )
Very flavorful. Tangy with a mustard highlight.
It's potatoes! It can handle a little more salt.
Mother liked it a lot. "It's more flavorful than the beans they serve at the senior center".
    Why am I not surprised!
Almost made a special trip to the store to get some red wine vinegar, just for DT, but I had some cooking sherry vinegar in the pantry. Sherry is part wine and part something else, I forget.
Used some of last years green beans from the garden. They were all snapped small, sorry.
We like our beans non-crunchy, so I blanched them longer than the 5 minutes. Not to say that the beans are crunchy at 5 minutes, but a few extra minutes will ensure they aren't.
Mother likes her beans grey. I can't handle that. A bright green to darker green is just perfect without cooking all the nutrients out of them.
Served them up with some of Keni's crock pot smoked meat. In this instance, chicken thighs.

Recipe says Dijon vinegar, but I guess she meant mustard. Are you going to try it cold? If there are leftovers, that is. :)

I didn't catch that. I read mustard. Guess it was an optical conclusion. It's chillin' now. Good warm but I will try it cold.

I read dijon mustard too! Maybe there is something like that out there, but I think too it was a mistake. I missed this recipe when she posted it and it sounds great! We are all different on how soft we like our green beans. I like mine with a little crunch, my husband likes them super crispy and my daughter likes them soft! What the heck to do? I just cook them the way I like and say, deal with it!
