Whole Grilled Chicken

My first time grilling a whole chicken I think! I used chili powder instead of cayenne and opted to use the dried onion. This was so easy! My chicken was on the small side so it only took a little over and hour, I just kept checking it with my meat thermometer. Served with some grilled brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes :)

I've never had a whole grilled chicken, but love grilled chicken legs! I especially like those little spots of black on any grilled meat, and think they add extra flavor - yum!

I don't think I have ever grilled a whole chicken either! Now I have a little Weber that is too small for one. I'll bet it tasted wonderful. I love nice crispy chicken skin. :-)

Oh wow, looks good! Love the colour you got on it!
I've grilled a whole chicken, but only in a tinfoil container and the the beer can method.
I've always been scared to do a whole chicken on the grill grates, lol. I'm glad it worked out for you! :)

Thanks!! My main concern was keeping my coals going for that long. It worked out really well though...not bad for a first time!

That looks so good Michelle! Cool that you found a small chicken, makes for less grilling time for sure:)
