Wynne's Honey Chipotle Chicken

  • mrpiggy 11 years ago
Made this for dinner tonight. Excellent smokey flavor with slight heat and a hint of sweet. I did use 3 chipotle and all the sauce from a small can. I used my stick blender to chop/mix everything together. I also let marinade overnight. Grilled 7 minutes per side. Oh, and I omitted the cilantro, because, umm .......ick .....but it was great without it. I will be making this again. LOVE that chipotle stuff : ) Thanks, Wynne for another great recipe

Thanks so much for giving yet another one of my posts a try, Mr. P...Happy it worked out for you. I feel the same way you do about cilantro so I generally substitute parsley for it. Wanted to copy the recipe exactly the way I found it though. Again, so happy you enjoyed. Great photos!!

Believe it or not, I do love those chipotles in adobo sauce. That's a great idea about marinading overnight, too, MrP. Great pictures. Is that basil?

Thanks everyone.. NP, yes, cilantro would add another level of flavor. Just not one that I care for : P I will say, tho, that everytime I see it in the store, I think about getting a small bundle just to try it and see if my taste have changed. But thinking about it is as far as I have gone.....

As for the green leaf, You both are right Keni's right because it does "look" like a baby spinach leaf. But its off my new basil plant that I found at Lucky's supermarket last weekend
