Hi, Technically I'm a Tennessee Girl, but my Mother was born and raised in Greenville, MS. My Grandmother, God bless her wicked little soul, is still there...in a nursing home (she's 97). Anyway, my aunt Rosie owned and ran The Venesian Cafe for many years. When we visited my mother's family, I'd work as a bus girl at the Cafe and was paid with free food. I have a wonderful Church cookbook from Greenville and lots of family "secret" recipes. Are you familiar with Doe's restaurant? The best steaks in the universe! Good luck with your group. Renee

I was born and raised on the MS Gulfcoast. My family still lives there. I now live in Corpus Christi, TX which is also on the Gulfcoast.
