    Good Morning Everyone!

Was browsing thru Pinterest last night and just have to post these two signs ... I hope you can appreciate my sense of humor Karen. My sister just got chickens about 2 weeks ago and I sent them to her too.

Not much going on at the moment and looking forward to hearing about what's going on with you.

Good morning, Linda and Everyone! Cute chicken pics! Your soap looks marvelous!

Thank you for all your nice birthday wishes!
Happy Belated Birthday Wishes to Ben, Janet. We find football boring as well!
Aww poor Sophia, Shona! I hope she is feeling better today.

I had a great time yesterday! The buffet was amazing! They had everything from olives plus any type of pickle etc you could think of, salads, an omelet station, french toast, pancakes, bacon, sausages, roasted potatoes, roast beef, roast pork, gravy, plus the biggest array of desserts I have ever seen! Then we went back to their house for birthday cake! Needless to say, we were all too stuffed for dinner! We aren't doing much today. Den is relaxing reading a book on his Kindle which is good for a change as he worked doing things every day last week. We will probably have pork chops for dinner but that isn't laid in stone yet.
    Wishing everyone a great day!

Haha, funny chicken pic's :D I bake the perogies too Linda! I love it that way, and it's the only way I can make enough for the whole family without boiling them as Pete likes them pan fried. I put them on a lined baking sheet and brush the tops with oil, bake them at 375 for about 15 minutes, then broil for 3 minutes just to get the tops a bit crispy as Pete likes them that way. Then I always fry up a couple strips of bacon and cook some onions in the bacon fat, add a little pad of butter and toss the baked perogies in that. Once you bake them, you never go back..Lol ;) I'll look into the monolaurin, thanks for the info :)

I'm glad you had a great birthday Joce!! Wow, that buffet sounds fantastic, I'd be too stuffed for dinner too ;) Enjoy your pork chops tonight!

Sophia just woke up, I'll check her for a fever shortly as the advil I gave her in the middle of the night will wear off soon. She does seem to be a little more alert this am. Pete went to work late and took Colter to school for me so I didn't have to wake up Sophia and put her in the car.
It's pea-soup thick fog outside! Near to zero visibility. Hopefully Pete made it to work ok, at least his truck has fog lights. The fog tells us the air is warmer, and it will be all week. Hopefully today is the only foggy day though.
The plan for dinner is chili, I want to make this one Pumpkin Chili for the pumpkin challenge in IMI. :)

    Have a great day everyone!

Hi all! Haha, love the chkn. pics. Linda :P, I’m sure your Sister got a kick out of them!

Happy Belated birthday Joce, and same to Benjamin :) :)

Joce, glad your birthday lunch was fabulous, everything sounded great!

Aww, hope Sophia get’s to feeling better Shona :( Yikes on the fog, that can be so dangerous to drive in! I plan on making another pumpkin recipe too, just haven’t figured out which one yet, maybe pumpkin cookies? That chili looks amazing and can’t wait to hear how it turns out!

I have long to do list, and I have gotten a good chunk of it done. Housework, gym, got this in the crock pot Slow Cooker Beef Stew and now I”m about to make me some lunch before I pass out from starvation lol :) also pulled out some breakfast sausage to make Michael some tacos as we works day’s all week and needs something quick to heat up. Wishing everyone a great day!!!

Hi everyone! Just got to Jim's Dad's cottage. It's POURING rain and lightening.

Funny signs Linda. My Mom raised chickens when I was a teenager. She'd appreciate those.

Verra nice on the buffet Joce. Sounded amazing. Glad to hear Den is relaxing. Porkchops sound lovely for dinner. My niece has put a HUGE Prime rib in the oven with onions and potatoes and a load of garlic. Should be awesome.

Sending good healing wishes to Sophia. Pumpkin chili eh? Gonna have to check that out.

    Love the chicken pictures, Linda!

Wow on the super brunch menu, Joce. No wonder no one was hungry for dinner!

Love pumpkin chili, Shona. I have made it for an open house and it went over quite well.

Yay on not having to take Sophia to school, Shona. The outside trek can't be that great for her.

Michelle, you sound super busy, as usual. LOL!

Ugh on the rain, Janet. It was 87F yesterday and warm today. Then a cold front lowers temp to 66F for Wednesday. Supposedly. Never can deal with the inconsistent weather forecasts around these parts....guess it is difficult to predict which way things will go.

I have been packing the RV, washed the dishes we bought for it, and have to pick up some "travel items" etc. Fire Dept. meeting is tonight. Wayne is running errands tomorrow so I will be busy getting the house in order. Tired, sleepy, need to be productive....sigh!

Dog needs shots -- probably Friday morning. Mary Cat has been granted a reprieve, but probably that will also be on Friday. Then laundry if my washer hasn't keeled over yet. Aye yi yi yi! Water on the floor and no signs of where it is leaking. So frustrating. Of course this is the one that would cost over $900 to fix, just about what we paid for it in the first place. Need to buy another one but economics are not allowing that for a while yet. Ha ha. Know of a used one we can have so may just have to bring it up and dump this one. Wayne's buddy takes metal for scrap so he can have the washer, saves us dealing with it.

Computer is down to 11% so best plug it in and get going. See you later.

So happy you enjoyed your Birthday feast Joce! Love buffets ... you pick what you want and how much of it. Nice that you and DH are relaxing.

Now I'm hungry for perogies Shona. I haven't had them in forever. Next time I go shopping I'll have to look for some. Has your DD fever broke yet?

Hope you got all your chores done today Michelle. I love my slow cooker and need to bring it out and start using it more but it does take planning ... can't cook anything last minute in it that's for sure.

Glad your at DH's Dad's cottage safe and sound Janet. Hope you didn't have to drive thru the pouring rain and lightening and too hope it clears up soon.

Do you have everything you need and want for the RV Karen? Put the wash machine outside and if it leaks it won't matter, hopefully you'll get a few more months use out of it.

We went to the feed store late morning to get litter for the bunny then got a bite to eat after for lunch. Nothing fancy, just a sandwich out. Went to the gym and grilled a steak for dinner for DH and I pulled out the salmon cakes I froze and had them. They froze and thawed wonderfully too! Steamed carrot slices and snow peas for a side. I'm officially out of fresh veggies and greens so will need to get to the store Wednesday for sure.
Finalized the name and labels for my imaginary soap store and will post a pick soon. I had thought I wanted to change the name (again) but this will be it. It's the "I LOVE SOAP BATH SHOP" and heart clip art is easier to find. Just getting it all to work and print was a little challenging but I did it using Avery templates and will just print it on regular paper and cut them out tucking them into the bag. Bags should be in Wednesday. Now that that's all done I'll have to find another project to entertain me. LOL!!
