The first picture is of Kim and I arriving to the wedding in. Our golf cart limo lol. Second is frank waiting and the third is a picture of the sun setting. I don't have many pictures of the wedding yet. Kim took pictures with her Fancy camera so we wouldn't have to pay the outrageous resort prices for photos. So I have to wait for her to send them. I looked at them on her camera at the resort though and they came out very nice. The pictures above were taken with my phone by Mike.
Just threw in a mountain of laundry. Have to go grocery shopping. Rachel said my mom got them take out every night. She doesn't cook much lol

Good Morning Laurie! I really enjoyed seeing all your pictures while you were in Jamaica. Thanks for sharing. LOL @ the mountain of laundry and your Mom getting the girls take out every night. :)
Chilly here. 8C/46F when we got up and only a high of 15C/59F forecast for this afternoon. Rained a bit more overnight.
Trying to think of something for dinner. Maybe Luisa's
    General Tsos Chicken
or maybe something to roast in the oven?
    Wishing everyone a lovely day.

Okay...decided to pull a pork roast out of the freezer. Shall go google some recipe but I'd like it garlic mashed potatoes and gravy and maybe some asparagus on the side.
Talked to my Mom this morning and we've settled on a date for her Garage sale. Jim and I haven't driven out there in quite a few years so it'll be a blast from the past.

Welcome home, Laurie:) I am just loving seeing all the beautiful pics of your vow renewal. Jamaica certainly looks like a gorgeous spot. LOL I love that your Mom took the girls out for dinner every night:) Laundry is happening here as well. We do it on the weekend b/c our power rates are cheaper during that time. I don't think I would relish going back to work tomorrow either!

Yes it is going to be cooler here for a few more days, Janet. I was thinking along the same line for dinner. We are having pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy and a veggie on the side as well. Then I may also make Yorkshire Pudding as well.

MichelleB, I love all the beautiful pics of Fiji you have an FB. The flowers are amazing! I see you are getting into cooking and using your gas stove. I have a gas stove and I love it. I learned to cook on a propane stove at the cottage when I was a child. You can see and control your cooking temps much better than an electric stove. IMHO.

Marie, I hope you and Rick are having a relaxing Sunday:)

    Wishing everyone a lovely day!

Hi all! Ugh on going back to work tomorrow Laurie, but I know you had to have had a blast at Sandals!! I want to go back there SO BAD! Which Jamaican Sandals resort did you stay at again? Do they call the carts you get driven around in Jitney's there too? Cool on the Golf cart limo lol!

You sure are getting a good amount of rain Janet! I think Houston got flooded again yesterday evening but I need to look it up to see...so far in all this flooding 6 people have drowned in there cars. CRAZY! Luckily we got heavy rain for about 10 minutes last night and that's it, we keep missing the bad part of it. That pork recipe looks so good!

Hi Joce, yum on pot roast and yorkshire pudding perfect for a cool evening!

Went to eat lunch with my Dad at a place called Genghis Grill. There is really no menu because you get a bowl and go and pick out all your food raw (Asian), as much as you can fit in your bowl, all types of meats and veggies then you pick your sauce and they cook it up for you on these huge flat top grills and you get it with fried rice or noodles. SO good! Then we came home and Michael took Briauna to see the movie Tomorrowland, but since we didn't think Caiden would enjoy it at all I stayed behind at home with him. I have ham, so dinner will be something with that, not sure if we will eat it on it's own with some sides, or incorporate it into a meal. Wishing everyone a good rest of the day!

    Good morning!
Welcome back from Jamaica Laurie, that is a place I have always wanted to go but never had a chance yet. The pictures you have posted are beautiful.
The rain here has stopped for the moment and it is a beautiful sunny morning with the birds chirping away like crazy. It is already 22 C at 7 a.m. so it promises to be a great day weather-wise.
Yesterday afternoon I wanted something sweet so I put together a version of rice pudding with what I had available - powdered milk, water, rice, honey, salt and an egg. For being a limited ingredient attempt, it turned out ok and satisfied my craving for comfort food at least. I managed to use the gas stove without burning things too much but I need to get the milky stuff off the bottom of the pot because my pot isn't a no-stick. Now I have some things on my list like canned milk, vanilla, cinnamon, etc. and maybe some dried fruit for the next time, as well as a pot scraper/scrubber.
Not sure what tonight will be for supper but I will take some time at lunch to wander over to the market.
Heading off to work now, have a great day everyone.

Hi Michelle! We have a place similiar to the one you went to with your Dad called "The Mongolie Grill". We LOVE it. They weigh your bowl once you have everything you want in there and you pay per lb. How did Bri and Michael like the movie? I've seen a bit of advertising for it but haven't even watched a trailer yet.
I guess it's Monday in Fiji now already Michelle B! Have a good day at work. Hope you find some fun things at the Market.

There is a place around here that has the same concept called Fire and Ice.
I stayed at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica.
My home cooked meal was steak cutlets, mashed potatoes and green beans.
Tried to take a bath but was in there for about five minutes when frank came in to tell me the water was leaking from the tub luckily it's leaking into the garage but I did not enjoy my bath!

    Hi all.
Welcome back, Laurie! Boo at going back to work! Boo on the leaky water pipes!
Hi Joce. Pot roast would suit me! Never had Yorkshire pudding but would like to try it.
Michelle, too bad you didn't get to see the movie.
Janet, it was cooler here today. Rain threatens Thursday or Friday, so may not be able to cut hay this week.
Michelle B., good luck on the rice pudding. It is certainly a comfort food.

We didn't have kids with us so after church went to Springfield and had lunch atTGIF. I had sirloin, spinach, summer squash, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. Yum! And under 500 calories. Wayne had a smoke burger which comes with cole slaw and applewood bacon and sauce of some type. Stopped at Best Buy and upgraded phones and got an iPad mini. Took forever. Wayne's took the longest, mine took only a few minutes to transfer contacts and photos.

The kittens are racing thru the house, very tired of being locked up all day. It is late and I am ready for bed. See you tomorrow.
