Superfan Sunday

    Good morning everyone,
Big playoff game tonight. Going to a friends to watch. This is surprising because frank gets so stressed out at these games he usually likes to watch alone so he can pace back and forth lol. But the friends that are hosting the husband is also a Town Selectman and has been helping with the pipeline fight so frank feels we have to go. We went to their house for a Bruin's play off game and I made Eggrolls. I know they loved them especially Mike the husband. I asked what I could bring and she said Eggrolls then quickly added just kidding you don't have to bring anything. Ha right lol! I'm changing it up a bit though. I am making my tex mex Eggrolls instead of chinese eggrolls.

I posted the message to see if it would work with picture. I sometimes have trouble. Lol
The yellow on the right is the prom dress Rachel is getting.
I have a ton to do today. Need to dye my hair and blow dry it out which takes forever lol. And then I got to go to Crazy Basket for supplies for Eggrolls. And I ordered my exercise bike! Yay so I have to take a ride to Sears to pick it up when they text me. So excited. I've been doing the treadmill but something is seriously wrong with my foot. The bone or bunion is ticking out so far that it stretched all the skin around it and now it's like almost chaffed from rubbing. I need to set up an appointment but I keep putting it off. Gonna do it Monday before frank breaks down and does it for me lol

Morning Laurie! Lol at Frank pacing back and forth during play off games :) I think the Tex Mex Eggrolls are perfect to take tonight. LOVE Rachel's prom dress, it's so pretty!!
Cool on getting an exercise bike, ouch on your foot, sounds so painful!

Drinking some coffee and hanging out enjoying my alone time. I leave to pick up Bri in about an hour. Afterward we are going straight to meet up with my Dad and Sister for lunch at Jason's Deli. I know Bri will be grumpy and tired, but she'll get over it lol! Afterward I am going to swing by Fresh Market (my favorite store in somewhat close range) since it's right by there and pick up some meat and a couple other things. We will come home after that so tired Briauna can sleep :) She's been to a lot of sleep overs so I KNOW how she is going to feel lol. I am going to make a homemade pizza crust (Paleo) to go with this Three Alarm Pizza and I will make Bri her own little personal cheese pizza :) Caiden is still at Grandma and Grandaddy's, he will be picked up tomorrow afternoon. Have a great Sunday everyone!!

Jim is PVR'ing a couple of Football Games this afternoon to watch as well. Seattle/Green Bay and New England/Indianapolis. That's very fun you're bringing Texmex Eggrolls over Laurie. They will be much appreciated I'm sure! I'm pleased you posted the picture of Rachel's Prom dress. It's beautiful. Is Yellow her favourite colour? Crazy Basket is a funny name for a store. It's very common for people to switch over from a treadmill to a bike. Did you get a recumbent? They seem to be all the rage these days. Do go get your foot checked out though. My Mom has a bunion. There is things that can be done and the sooner you have it looked at the easier it would be I suspect!
Have fun at lunch with your Dad and Sister Michelle! Have a good shop at Fresh Market too! A pizza party for dinner sounds great.
I think I'm going to try a new salmon recipe for dinner this evening.
Bhs Salmon Teriyaki With Seasoned Corn On The Side
And maybe a tossed salad on the side?
Hope Rick's Dad is doing better today Marie. Sending good thoughts. I was compelled to google where "Bridges of Madison County" was filmed. Here's the Wikipedia answer: :)

"It was filmed on location in Madison County, Iowa, including the town of Winterset, and in the Dallas County town of Adel. The Bell's Mills Bridge, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, was also a filming location."

Joce did you get to Foodsmith's?
Karen, is Miss Kitty still well today?
    Hugs to Tina.

Laurie, The dress Rachel is getting is lovely. She will look absolutely beautiful in it! Those Tex Mex egg rolls sound delicious and will be perfect game food. Congrats on getting a new exercise bike. Yes have someone look at your bunion and be careful about what type of foot wear you are wearing. NO high heels or uncomfortable tight pointed shoes which add more pressure on it! If you have to have a bunion removed it will be in excruciating painful for quite a few weeks! LOL I know I am a NAG when it comes to taking care of your feet:) It is b/c, I care. Make an appointment tomorrow O.K.

Michelle, Did you have a relaxing evening without any kiddos there? Enjoy your lunch with Bri and your Dad. LOL @ knowing Bri will get over being grumpy:) A mini pizza party for dinner is a really good plan:) I won't be able to drive for maybe a couple more weeks? I have to get permission from my surgeon before I can, and I haven't heard yet when my appointment is going to be with him?

Marie, Sending good healing vibes to Rick's Dad. I do hope he is doing much better today.

Janet, No I didn't get to go to Foodsmith's:( Den shoveled snow from the patio and the side path of the house and was busy most of the day. I didn't want to disturb him when he finally sat down and was reading a book on his Kindle. I loved the movie Bridges of Madison County. LOL it is the first movie that comes to mind that Den absolutely hates:) He says it was SOO LONG AND BORING:) That salmon recipe looks and sounds delicious! Big bummer about your table:( I would make sure they deliver it to you instead of you having to waste your time and gas!

Karen, Den will not eat Chinese food either! NO WAY! Glad you were able to bring some things inside and put them away for the winter. Bummer on all the tires losing air!
Those seizures you mentioned sounded scary! I had a couple of them when I was in my 20's and they thought I might be epileptic and threatened to take away my license. Fortunately they proved I didn't and I haven't had another one since, thank heavens!

Tina, The dogs were probably upset with you and Liv leaving them alone? They will do better with an evening snack as you mentioned. LOL I have to agree with Scotty though you do spoil all of them:) LOL Isn't that what having animals around is all about?

We are having pot roast for dinner with all the extras like gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Then we will watch The Great British Bake Off and DA. YAY!

    Wishing everyone a great Sunday!

Totally envying you your Pot Roast Joce. And the Yorkshire pudding and gravy of course. Yay for The Great British Bake off tonight too! Jim did a bit of shovelling of the front walks yesterday as well and today he may tackle the back deck and hot tub interlock but the weather report says we may get some mixed precip this afternoon so it may be wiser to wait to see what else comes. :)

I think that is why he shoveled yesterday, Janet? If we do get freezing rain etc. and then the snow behind our gate will freeze again after our quick thaw and it is then hard to open and even harder to shovel when it is crusty. He said it was nice and light and fluffy when he shoveled yesterday. We don't go out in the backyard normally in the winter except to take the path to the compost.

Yellow is Rachel's favorite color. Lol it's really Market Basket not Crazy Basket but that's what it's called on the weekends :)
The bike is like an airbike but it has arm things so you work your upper body too.

Hi Laurie. I’m sure your friends will like your eggrolls. Rachel’s dress is very pretty. Bunion’s can be a nuisance. I had surgery for one on my left foot; it is quite painful for a week or two. Wayne was active duty at the time and after a week was on TDY. Our neighbor fed the horses since I couldn’t walk further than the door and sure couldn’t drive. Listen to Joce! No narrow heels - no tight shoes. I live in comfy walking shoes, tennis shoes, and the like. Have not worn heels for years because I don’t want a repeat for the right foot.

Michelle, did Briauna enjoy her sleepover? She will happy to see Oliver, I’m sure.

Miss Kitty was on the porch today, Janet. I put the crate out so she would have a warm place to sleep. She started to walk stiffly again this evening. When we came home, she kept huddling by the door, so Wayne thought she should come inside for the night. I put a cozy, warm cat bed in the room with her litter box and food. She wants to be in the LR with us, but she drools constantly, and A.C. would probably sneak up and pounce on her. I foresee a trip to the vet’s this week, don’t know if there is anything we can do for her, but it looks like she will be outside during the warmer days and inside at night, until we can figure out what, if anything, can be done.

Joce, pot roast sounds wonderful. I haven’t decide what we are having for supper. Not much, since it was pot luck today at church. I made a concocted pasta salad with mini bowties, smoked ham, spinach, red onion, grated cheddar cheese, mayo, pepper, garlic, Mediterranean seasoned sea salt, dash of cumin. It was good. But pot roast appeals to me tonight. I think we will have pork egg rolls from Schwanns, no fuss and toss in the oven.

Marie, chili is so easy to put together and so easy to vary. I will have to make
Sweet Potato Bacon Chili soon, since I have the ingredients - I think. LOL.

We brought the tents in this afternoon. I untied the tie downs and he packed them in the back of the Gator. Next is to put them away in the loft of the garage. It was so quiet, not even a bird was out. Unlike last night, when the coyotes were howling again. Haven’t heard them for some time. They can be a nuisance, but we don’t have any young livestock for them to bother, so it is live and let live.

We are watching “Alaska, the Last Frontier.” It is a fascinating program. I have learned a lot just from their everyday life: smoking salmon, canning, etc.

    Have a nice evening.
