Good Morning Everybody! Supposed to be a hot one today too! I'm heading downtown in just a bit. Jim has that consultation with the Specialist regarding his tongue so I pray that all goes fine and then I'm meeting up with two friends for lunch who I haven't seen in awhile so am looking forward to that.
Very cool on the old chairs Marie. As you say, chairs are very cool and just exude character.
I googled Cicada killers Laurie, a type of wasp. They sure look mean. Just read this morning that a woman in Quebec died yesterday from shock after being stung over 15 times. How horrible. How awful about the Soccer Coach. So very sad.
Too bad on the turkey meat Tina but I bet the Pork Roast was lovely. No, I haven't heard about that porch paint. Sounds cool. My decks get a lot of abuse as we shovel them in the winter time and that's pretty hard on stain. :) Oh my Goodness on Boozy Basil Ginger Peach Ice Cream.
Pleased to hear the lemon grass went down fine and I'm excited to try that recipe for the Steak salad Michelle as it sounded very yummy.

A big wave out to everyone else. I'm including a picture that Benjamin sent to me a couple of days ago. He went to a small town called Jiufen which is located right on the Pacific Ocean and as you can see if very scenic. I love the shot he took.
Jim and I plan to go out for dinner this evening or just grab take-out if we don't feel like hanging around.

Tina, Good luck at the doctor's today! I hope you are feeling a bit better today.

I don't have time to catch up. I had a rough day yesterday with my IBS and Fibromyalgia, I wasn't in a chatty mood. I will be very busy for the rest of the week. They called to say they will be putting in the new windows on Friday yesterday. I need to make sure everything is cleared inside and outside around and near the windows. Take curtains etc. down move things out of the way etc. which is going to be a PIA, but it has to be done. Dinner will be pork tenderloin something? I am not sure if, I will do Wiener Schnitzel, stuff it bake it or what with it at the moment? I will let you know later on.

Sending cool refreshing breezes to cool everyone down!

Joce, sorry to hear you had such a bad day. Yuck on the hard work prepping for the windows. I'm sure you'll appreciate them once they are installed.

I'm not sure what we will eat tonight. Liv is off to the beach with Scotty. I have zero leftovers, they ate every bit of food I fixed yesterday.

I'm ready for a nap. LOL All achy from yesterday's efforts in the kitchen. Fred had a huge piece of bourbon banana bread topped with pistachio ice cream for lunch. The kitchen needs some serious deep cleaning.

Dinner will be grilled rosemary chicken, brussel sprouts (haha I ALWAYS have to giggle, brussel sprouts reminds me of Janet) and a spring salad with feta, dried cranberries and Italian dressing:)

Your getting new windows:) That will be so nice (we really could use ALL new windows here, their the originals from 1979) It is a PIA for sure getting everything taken down and cleared away..It will be so worth it though my dear:)

I decided we will have grilled hot dogs & polish sausages...I don't feel like making what I originally said we were having..we can have that tomorrow:) I guess I'm tired:)

Fred made cheeseburgers for us. So nice of him. I had some chilled three bean salad as our side.

Liv got fried on the boat yesterday. She went to the shooting range today instead of burning her skin again.

Marie glad the mowing went well. Your salad sounded good.

Michelle is Palm Beach a water park?

I'm having brussel sprouts tomorrow! I think of Janet too when I make cruciferous veggies.

The stores are empty of produce, meat and dairy since no drivers and the other local stores, stop and shop and such can't keep up with the demand because everyone usually shops at Market basket. It's a crazy thing when employees of a company will risk losing there jobs, it's not unionized and they already fired eight managers.

No blood clot in leg, yippee. However, symptoms are progressively getting worse, arm and hand tremors with horrible muscle weakness, racing heart rate, brain fog and massive pain behind my eyes. As I wean off the steroids the joint pain is slamming me tip to toe. How am I going to work on Thursday?

My MIL's dog used to do that all the time, once he stole a whole roasted chicken off the counter as it was resting and ate the whole thing in about 15 seconds. Ouch on Liv getting burnt :S Palm Beach is a mini water park. A couple slides, a lazy river and a wave pool. They did recently add a zip line that goes all the way across the park. Bri did it and I was so proud of her, it's HIGH!!!
You sound like your being tortured with all this pain! Is there no way to take more time off? Thursday is so soon!
Hi Laurie, your dinner sounded wonderful :) Crazy about the supermarket and all the employees on strike! Hope the Arthur gives Arthur his job back!
