    Good, almost afternoon, Everyone!

Both DH and I had the ODD bug last night, well actually DH did which then kept me up also till about 3:00 a.m. Got enough sleep though so I'm not 'foggy-headed' today.
It threated rain late afternoon yesterday, got dark and windy and ugly but blew thru without a drop.
Not sure what our plans our today but it will involve eating out someplace as I do not feel like cooking and cleaning up for dinner.

What's everyone else up to today?

    HOLY QUIETNESS BATMAN!

Hi Linda! I'm here! Better late than never. LOVE your Avatar. You choose good ones to match themes. :)

Our company totally enjoyed their dinner last night and I spoiled them the best I could. I gave my cousin and my Aunt some of that Chocolate Grappa that I'd purchased in Montreal and they were ga-ga over it. Not much left but I have kept some for my cousin Heather who we're meeting up with on the 25th.

Cleaned up the kitchen this morning and then headed in to Mom's apt. at noon to sit with her while she had lunch. Leftover meatball soup. Jim went and did the laundry. Back home to eat our lunch. Now back in town. I'm getting caught up on email and Jim went to get rid of our garbage at the dump. Have to grab a couple of groceries and some wine as I'm having three of my high school friends over for dinner tonight. Making
    Beef Dip
with a plate of cold veggies, carrots, avocado, cherry tomatoes and cucumber and putting out some appys. They're coming over at 5.

Tomorrow we are heading to Fort Frances for the day. Will do some grocery shopping and run a couple of errands.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday.

Oh! Linda (or anyone who is looking for a good book).....I just finished "LIttle Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng. Interesting story about two women. One who is a rule follower and one who is an artist and not a rule follower. It was a good story.

We read that for book club a few months ago. I really enjoyed it. This months book is Educated by Tara Westover. I think you would enjoy that book too Janet.
It’s just me and Rachel for dinner so we might just get sushi. Frank is having new tires put on Rachel’s car.

Good evening and hello to.........a few...........lol! I did not sleep what seems, at all last night. Could not shut off my brain! Worried about a few things that really aren't worry worthy, But worried just the same, lol. Was such a fog head at work today! Having a glass of wine, or two, or three tonight........to help relax me. I'm keyed up about our trip to Tennessee and shouldn't be at all. But don't know why I am............. Maybe it's just the unknown about meeting my grandson for the first time.......and his mother. I want her to know that I care and want to be in his life the best I can and I want her address so I can send him cards and gifts. Michael says she will welcome me (he said, especially you, mom) but...... It's a bit overwhelming, I guess. And then with Michael leaving for Alaska. Just too much to take in! Would like for life to just STOP for a moment and let me catch up, lol!

Made some delightful cheese stuffed chic breasts tonight. All were devoured! Had some broccoli and salad on the side.

Hope all enjoy the rest of the evening and SLEEP Sweet All.............as always.............
