Hello, my name is Allysa and I'm Bill's youngest daughter. I first just want to say how much my heart is warmed by this group, but reading all of your sweet comments regarding my Dad have been just that more special. It's been 7 years now since his passing and seeing this page come up on a Google search was so beautiful. It is so very nice to remember this part of my Dad's life. I remember him using many recipes off of here and having us try them. Absolutely delicious by the way! He truly loved cooking and thankfully passed that on to me. I have now joined this community and am very excited to carry on what my Dad loved doing.

Hello Allysa, I'm afraid I was not a member here 7 years ago so did not know your dad. I do have a folder on my desktop titled "PutterCop's that look good" with links to several of his recipes. I've felt I really missed something not having the chance to interact with him.

Hi Allysa. I did not know your Dad but do know that the original checkin group was founded because of him. I joined just after that and became an active member in that group. Many beautiful thoughts and words were always shared about putercop!

It's so nice to meet you! Looking forward to seeing you pass on your dad's cooking legacy. The group Checkin Central was set up by peetabear in your dad's memory. The modern version of this group is Checkins the Next Chapter and the administrator is ravenseyes. It would be lovely to see you there.
