Favorite Salad Dressing?

OK... What do you put on your salads? I have been using olive oil and lemon/lime, it seems like for ever... I do like Green Goddess bottles...7 seas I think it is... Hard to find all the time. Tried the new Kraft sun dried tomato... I thought .... GAK... but used it as a base for a marinade and it was good that way.. Most bottled are so strong.. you can't taste the veggies..

I love Ranch dressing, no matter what kind as long as it is Ranch. My daughter loves it to, she even puts it on Graham Crackers!

Line, you'll laugh but I use your secret sauce as my salad dressing! I just thin it a bit and it is good on chopped romaine and tomatoes.

I prefer to make homemade, afterall, I spent 4 years as the salad girl at R & P's and then Le Pompano's before moving out to the floor as wait staff. Still love the dressings I learned from those restaurants but when I'm in a hurry, I use "Ken's" Vidalia Onion as a slaw base and "Ken's" red wine vinegar for basic iceberg lettuce salads.

I like all the dressings mentioned except for the Blue Cheese. When I get serious about my diet nothing can beat just plain ol' iceberg lettuce with salt, pepper, and balsamic or rice wine vinegar. I'm not afraid of the pepper shaker either. I truly like the flavor of Russian dressing, but find it very difficult to find in the store. It has the reddish color of a catalina dressing and a flavor a little like Thousand Island dressing and none of the lumps.

I've been stuck on Ranch for a long time. I even prefer the store brands over the name brands. Lately, though, I've changed back over to Thousand Island.
