Hi simplyanna....This is a great idea for a Group! Shortcuts are always a very good thing. I gravitate towards easy recipes with less than 20 ingredients. I also like to learn different "tricks" in cooking, cleaning....Rachael Ray's Trash Bowl, just one more thing to clean up. I don't think that's a practical tip. I like the idea of prechopping things and storing them in the freezer, especially if I come home from the store and discover that I already had 2 bags of onions in the pantry. I'm a bit of a ditz.

Love those quick but good recipes! Now, the trash bowl is a huge help for me. Becasue of the size of our trash can, it's located all the way across the kitchen from where I am cooking, so, that saves me lots of time in crossing over every time I have an empty can, or eggshell, or something. (Depending on what I 'm cooking), and saves the counter from getting cluttered with trash.

sparow, instead of a bowl that has to be cleaned afterwards, I double up two plastic grocery store bags and open them to form a pouch. Then when I'm through making messies, I tie the bag handles together and toss everything in the trash can. Mine is on the other side of the kitchen, as well.

RML... U are like me.. hate the cleaning up of it all! I do the plastic bags.. or use the tray from the meats.. pile it up.. and into the trash.. done! I was told walking to the other side of the kitchen was good for me.. I told them............. nah.. can't put it here!

Good idea. I will try the plastic bags...in the grand scheme of things, washing one more bowl didn't seem like as much trouble as all the trips to the garbage can...LOL...Bryan usually does the dishes...he will appreciate the bags!!
