My list would be too long
Potato chips and French Onion dip would be at the top.
Mini Pizzas made from English muffins probably second.
Home made Popcorn would be third.
Crackers and cheese would be fourth
Ice cream sundae in the summer would bump to number one.

Those caramel popcorn balls sound good Sherry

Oooohh! My favourite snack...that is a hard one because I loved everything! I'd have to give preference to the Christmas baking and if I had to pick out just one thing from that I would say the shortbread cookies. My mom would freeze her Christmas baking as she made it from about October on and I remember learning to love frozen shortbread cookies!! She'd go down to the deep freeze to put more in or start bringing some stuff up and then just freak because so much of it was gone, especially the shortbread! I told her that my friend's mother would lock the freezer so they couldn't get any of the food out and this is when they were teens! But my mom never did that, I think she secretly liked that I stole from her stash!

20 years later, my son started doing exactly the same thing! What goes around, comes around! But I would just smile and remember how my mom never really got too angry when I did it!

Yea, this site is going to be bad for me! I left a long diatribe on somebodies recipe about eating with my Grandfather the other day. I guess that should have been in here!

I loved black and white cookies. Always ate the chocolate first because the vanilla was my favorite. I sat and watched my grandson do exactly the same thing last weekend. Go figure. Loved........potato chips and pizza and still do! onion dip made with onion soup mix and sour cream. My other grandson always has to have a little bowl of his own so he doesn't double dip in ours!

It would be the hot buttered popcorn that my Dad would make as we all sat glued to the radio then later, the TV. He would sprinkle it with grated Parmesan cheese, I still fix my popcorn like that... love it! :o)

Whenever there was bacon leftover from breakfast, I would go out to the garden, pick a perfectly ripened tomato and make myself a BLT with plenty of mayonaise.

My dad liked to eat popcorn while he was waching TV, too. And in the fall we often ate popcorn and apples. That parmesan cheese on the popcorn sounds good; I'm gonna try it.

Mom had some Tupperware forms for pop-cicles, which she made out of Kool-Aid.

Lips, oh you had to mention that, My Mom use to have me make her those with left over bacon and we kept it a secret from the rest of the gang.

Mom was always happy when she could find a dime so she could go to the store and buy a Jiffy cake mix. and she always frosted it with 7-minute icing.

I remember sitting in a chair along side Mom when she made doughnuts. One time I thought I was helping my Mom. I made holes with a whole loaf of bread, and rolled them in sugar and put them in the refrigerator. Boy, was she mad.

I miss it when she used to make a big pot of macaroni and cheese with either sliced hotdogs or diced spam
